Last night we attended a graduation dinner party of our neighbor. They have 4 children who graduated in their family cousins and her child. The main point is that have you ever been overwhelmed in assessing the visitors as soon as you step in the door. Just so you will not miss or say the wrong names to those people whom you knew in the past. Or say generic names such as... Hi Ate or Hi Kuya instead.
Hahaha . . . . last night I got that same effect inside. I try to assess and place each and every person I knew and try hard to recall their names in my head. Whew. . . alas! thank God I succeeded though not 100% correct hehehe. . . I have said hi ate and hi kuya to those that I really really can't recall. But in a more discreet manner I should say. To avoid hurting someone's feelings and hearing words that I have forgotten them and you saying sorry at the end. WHEW !!! thought brain twister. But it's okey I did recall some important names in my mind. Especially the ones who approaches and tries to talk to me.
But in general we had fun (me and my husband ), got to hang out with old friends and acquaintances was able to find common ground to talk about. At least I didn't get to be the wall paper of the night.
So congratulations are in order to Joan who graduated in college, Jayne my goddaugther from graduating from highschool and Kean too, and last is Mckoy from grade school. Thanks guys for inviting us. We had a great time.
